3rd Women’s ODI, Zimbabwe v Bangladesh: Preview, Fantasy Tips, Likely XIs Image

The third and the last Women’s ODI of the three-match series between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will be played on 15 November, at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. Bangladesh have already claimed the series by winning the opening two games easily, and will be looking to complete the clean sweep.

After being outclassed in the series opener, Zimbabwe had to win the second match two days ago to keep the series alive. They opted to bat after winning the toss, but kept losing wickets regularly until they were bowled out for 121 in 46.4 overs. Nyasha Gwanzura and Modester Mupachikwa impressed with bat, but the rest failed to cross 15.

The Bangladesh bowlers, led by Jahanara Alam, had wrapped Zimbabwe up for 48 in the first match. They carried the momentum, going for less than three and a half an over in the second match as well.

It was a straightforward chase for Bangladesh, courtesy an unbroken 115-run second-wicket stand between Murshida Khatun and Fargana Hoque. They both notched fifiies, and will be looking to star with bat again.

Zimbabwe are unlikely to pull one back, especially in the absence of their key all-rounder Josephine Nkomo. Mary-Anne Musonda disappointed the most, and will hope to finish things off on a high note.
