Bangladesh took an unassailable 3-1 lead with a six-wicket win against New Zealand in the fourth ODI. After Mustafizur Rahman and Nasum Ahmed shared eight wickets, they chased down a paltry target of 94 with six wickets and five balls to spare.

Tom Latham won the toss and opted to bat. Nasum Ahmed struck in his first over, getting Rachin Ravindra caught by Mohammad Saifuddin for a five-ball duck. An over later, Nasum got rid of Finn Allen.

Tom Latham (21)and Will Young added 35 for the third wicket before the former fell to Mahedi Hasan. Two more wickets fall in the next over, of Colin de Grandhomme and Henry Nicholls.

Young finally got out on 46 in the 20th over of the match. Barring Allen, Young and Latham, none of the batters made more than four runs.

Nasum Ahmed conceded just 10 from four overs, and picked four wickets. Mustafizur Rahman’s figures read 3.3-0-12-4.

When Bangladesh came out, Cole McConchie got Liton Das to provide New Zealand with an important breakthrough. Shakib Al Hasan made 8, while Mushfiqur fell for a duck. Mohammad Naim held the innings from one end, scoring 29 off 35 before getting run out.

An unbeaten 43 from Mahmudullah drove Bangladesh past the target. Ravindra and Ajaz Patel bowled well, conceding just 17 off the combined total of eight overs.
