The winners of the upcoming Challengers will advance to the finals of this season’s Big Bash League, where they will take on Sydney Sixers. The Heat, after a slump, have found momentum of late and will enter the upcoming game on the back of four successive wins. They defeated teams such as Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers to book a spot in the playoffs and will be high on confidence when they take on Perth Scorchers, who have seemed to lost their momentum recently.
The Scorchers went down to Heat and then Sixers in their previous game. They had finished second on the points table at the end of the league stage, though, and they can not be written off completely.
Team News
Despite losing their last game, the Perth Scorchers are unlikely to make any changes to their XI. The Heat could see Morne Morkel find a place in the XI, after the South African came on as an X-Factor Sub in the last game that Heat played.

Top Picks
Jason Roy (Perth Scorchers):
The opener had smashed a fine 41 when the two teams had last met in the BBL this season. He scored a fifty in the last game and is unstoppable when he gets going.
Chris Lynn (Brisbane Heat):
The skipper of the Heat has led from the front, with more than 400 runs, including five fifties to his name this season. He failed to get going in the previous clash and will be eager to play another captain’s knock in the all-important game.
