Sri Lanka's tour to India will now begin with T20Is instead of a Test match as originally scheduled, the BCCI announced on 15 February.
Initially, they were supposed to play Test matches in Mohali and Bengaluru ahead of the three-match T20I series. The first T20I will now be played in Lucknow on 25 February, followed by two more in Dharamsala.
Sri Lanka will first play the T20I series comprising three matches followed by a two-match Test series, which will be a part of the ICC World Test Championship, 2021-23. Lucknow will now host the first T20I while the next two will be played in Dharamsala,' a statement by the BCCI said.
Virat Kohli is likely to make his 100th Test appearance at PCA Stadium in Mohali, where the first match will be played from 4 March. The next Test in Bengaluru will be a day-night affair.

2nd T20I - February 26, Dharamsala
3rd T20I - February 27, Dharamsala
1st Test - March 4 to 8, Mohali
2nd Test - March 12 to 16, Bengaluru
