Adelaide Strikers defeated Perth Scorchers by six wickets to register their fourth victory of the season. They restricted the Scorchers to 127/9 before chasing it down in 17 overs.
The Scorchers lost both openers by the end of the Powerplay. Nick Hobson got out to Peter Siddle, and Kurtis Patterson was dismissed by Fawad Ahmed on 25. Laurie Evans (39) and Ashton Turner (28) then chipped in with valuable contributions.
Fawad took three wickets and was adjudged Player of the Match, while Siddle and Henry Thornton took two each.
Matthew Short and Henry Hunt added 52 runs for the opening spell before the former got out on 34. Hunt made 27 off 23 before hitting out to Aaron Hardie. Ian Cockbain remained unbeaten on 35 to take his team across the target.
