The Celebrity Cricket League, the sportainment event that combines sports and entertainment, is back in action. Teams from eight different regions of India will compete for the cup this season.
The new season will feature 19 matches held in six cities: Raipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Trivandrum, and Jaipur.
Mumbai Heroes will have Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as its Brand Ambassador and Captain Ritesh Deshmukh, Chennai Rhinos will be led by Arya, and Telugu Warriors will have Venkatesh as its co-owner and captain Akhil.
Bhojpuri Dabanggs will be captained by Manoj Tiwari, Kerala Strikers will be captained by Kunchacko Boban, Bengal Tigers will be captained by Boney Kapoor, Karnataka Bulldozers will be captained by Sudeep, and Punjab De Sher will be captained by Sonu Sood.
Over 120 film celebrities will appear in the season. Stadiums in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai have seen full attendance in previous seasons, and the current trend suggests that comparable crowds can be expected in other locations.
The matches will be shown live and exclusively on seven ZEE TV networks. All 19 CCL games will be broadcast live by Zee Anmol Cinema.
Matches of Mumbai Heroes will be broadcast on & Pictures Hindi, Punjab De Sher matches on PTC Punjabi, Telugu Warriors matches on Zee Cinemalu, Chennai Rhinos matches on Zee Thirai, Karnataka Bulldozers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Bengal Tigers matches on Zee Bangla, and Kerala Strikers matches on Flowers TV.
The league will start from February 18, 2023. The opening match will be played between Bengal Tigers and Karnataka Bulldozers from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. IST.
