Hampshire v Yorkshire, Southampton

Yorkshire 243 (Bess 54; Abbott 3-47) and 312/6 decl. (Ballance 101*; Barker 2-36) drew with Hampshire 163 (Vince 49; Coad 3-29) and 177/9 (Weatherley 43; Thompson 4-18).

Mason Crane and James Vince played more than 150 balls each to help Hampshire secure a thrilling draw against Yorkshire in Southampton.

Resuming on 26/2, Crane batted throughout the first two sessions to take Hampshire to 120/4 before Matthew Fisher ended his 197-ball stay with the second new ball. Vince made 42 in 151 balls before Jordan Thompson trapped him leg before.

And yet, 7.3 overs of play was still possible from there when the ninth Hampshire wicket went down.

But Bradley Wheal (0* in 22 balls) and Kyle Abbott (9* in 51) saw out the final few overs before the players shook hands.

Lancashire v Warwickshire, Old Trafford

Warwickshire 371 (Benjamin 127; Mahmood 4-77) and 239/6 decl. (Sibley 57; Parkinson 4-94) drew with Lancashire 341 (Bohannon 71; Norwell 6-57).

Dom Sibley struck 57 in 168 balls on the final day as the match between Warwickshire and Lancashire at Old Trafford, Manchester, fizzled out to a draw.

Warwickshire resumed on 52/1, and batted 81 overs on the last day to finish on 239/6. Apart from Sibley, Chris Benjamin, Sam Hain, and Matthew Lamb chipped in with useful contributions. With 4-94, Matthew Parkinson was the pick of the Lancashire bowlers.
