Match 3 of Caribbean Premier League 2021 will see St Lucia Kings taking on Jamaica Tallawahs at Warner Park in St Kitts, on Friday, 27 August. Faf du Plessis will lead the Kings after Darren Sammy stepped down from the captaincy this year. The Tallawahs will be captained by Rovman Powell

The Tallawahs batting unit is weakened after Glenn Phillips left for the Barbados Royals. Haider Ali is likely to partner with Chadwick Walton at the top. They have also signed Kirk Mckenzie to strengthen their middle order.
The Kings will miss Mohammad Nabi and Najibullah Zadran, both of whom are with their national sides. Their head coach Andy Flower is optimistic about du Plessis’ return. After Matthew Wade pulled out of the tournament, they roped in Tim David as replacement. Samit Patel will miss the initial games of the tournament.

- Carlos Brathwaite amassed 183 runs and claimed 18 wickets in the T20 Blast. Brathwaite is a safe bet to have as an all-rounder.
