CPL 2021: St Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors Preview, fantasy tips, probable XIs Image

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Guyana Amazon Warriors will be up against each other for the second time in just over 24 hours in the eighth match of the CPL 2021. The Patriots emerged victorious on Saturday to go to the top of the points table.

The Patriots chased down 147, set by the Warriors, with eight wickets and seven balls to spare. Devon Thomas and Evin Lewis made a great comeback after getting out cheaply in the first game.

The target afforded Thomas to get his eyes in and proceed on the cautious note. He remained unbeaten on 55, off 54 deliveries. Evin Lewis, meanwhile, played his natural game, scoring 62 off 39 deliveries.

Dominic Drakes has been the most consistent bowler from the Patriots. He claimed two wickets in the opening game and followed with excellent figures of 4-0-26-3 against the Warriors.

The Warriors, meanwhile, failed to put up a challenging total for the second time in a row. The bowler bailed them out against Trinbago Knight Riders, but could not do the same in the next match.

Brandon King has scored 9 and 11 so far. Promoted to No. 3 against the Patriots, Odean Smith scored a seven-ball duck. Shoaib Malik has 2 and 5, facing 12 balls each time. These are issues that need to be addressed.
