Kohli resigns as Test Captain
Virat Kohli has announced his resignation as Indian Test captain with an immediate effect. Under Kohli's captaincy, India won 40 matches and lost only 17. His announcement came the day after India lost the Test series against South Africa.
'Every thing has to come to a halt at some stage and for me as Test Captain of India, it's now. There have been many ups and also some downs along the journey, but never has there been a lack of effort or lack of belief,' said Kohli in his statement.
Australia on 37/3 on Day 2
Australia find themselves on top after finishing Day 2 at Hobart with a lead of 152 runs. They will resume Day 3 on 37/3, with Steven Smith and Scott Boland at the crease. Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, and Mark Wood picked a wicket apiece.
Earlier Pat Cummins took four wickets and Mitchell Starc three to help Australia bowl England out for 188. Woakes' 36 was the highest score of the innings.
West Indies announce 18-member squad for South Africa tour
Cricket West Indies (CWI) has announced an 18-member squad for the upcoming tour to South Africa for a four-match ODI series. All four ODIs will be played at the Wanderers, with the first match to be held on 28 January.

Nabi makes himself unavailable for ODI series against Netherlands
Mohammad Nabi has withdrawn his name from the upcoming three-match ODI series against the Netherlands in Doha. Earlier, Naveen-ul-Haq pulled out of this series to concentrate on the T20I World Cup 2022.
