Wood ruled out of IPL 2022
Lucknow Super Giants will miss the services of Mark Wood for IPL 2022. Wood, whom they had acquired for INR 7.5 crores in the mega auction, suffered an elbow injury during the first Test against West Indies in Antigua. The Super Giants are expected to confirm the replacement soon.
Australia-Pakistan ODIs likely to be moved to Lahore
The upcoming ODI series and lone T20I between Australia and Pakistan are likely to be moved from Rawalpindi to Lahore, as confirmed by Pakistan's interior minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad. However, the final decision will be taken by the respective boards of both nations, not the government.
The ODI series starts on 29 March, while the T20I will be played on 5 April.

West Indies beat Bangladesh by 4 runs
West Indies beat Bangladesh by 4 runs in the ICC Women's ODI World Cup. They set a target of 141 and bowled out Bangladesh for 136. Hayley Matthews claimed four wickets, while Stafanie Taylor and Afy Fletcher picked up three wickets each. As many as five Bangladesh batters failed to score.
For West Indies, Shemaine Campbelle top-scored with 53 not out, while Salma Khatun and Nahida Akter claimed two wickets each.
Shamilia Connell discharged from the hospital
Shamilia Connell has been released from the hospital and her condition is stable, as confirmed by Cricket West Indies (CWI). During the Women's World Cup game between West Indies and Bangladesh, Connell collapsed on the field in the 47th over of the second innings. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.
'She was taken as a precaution to hospital but has been discharged. We will update the media officially in the morning once we have an update from the Team Physio and our CMO,' Cricket West Indies CWI CEO Johnny Grave told Cricbuzz.
