Stuart Law appointed head coach of Afghanistan
Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has named Stuart Law as the interim head coach of their men's senior team. Law will replace Lance Klusener. His first assignment will begin later this month with the Bangladesh tour.
The first ODI of the three-match series will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, on 23 February. The T20Is will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium on 3 and 5 March.

New Zealand beat South Africa by an innings and 276 runs in the first Test match, in Christchurch.
Tim Southee claimed five wickets to skittle out South Africa for 111 in the second innings. Matt Henry was adjudged as Player of the Match for his nine wickets in the match and an unbeaten 57. Henry Nicholls scored 105 as well, and Tom Blundell 96.
Faulkner withdraws from PSL
James Faulkner has withdrawn from Pakistan Super League 2022 because of an alleged unfulfillment of contractual payments by the PCB. The board, however, released a statement that contradict the claim made by Faulkner.
'Accordingly, payments due to Mr Faulkner as per his contract are fully up to date. The remaining 30 per cent of his contractual payment only becomes due 40 days after the completion of the HBL Pakistan Super League 2022, which now remains a matter to be reviewed in line with his contract,' countered PCB.
India announce Test, T20I squads for Sri Lanka series
Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested for the T20I series against Sri Lanka. They have left the bio-bubble, and will join the squad ahead of the Test series.
There was no place for Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, or Wriddhiman Saha in the 18-member Test squad. Priyank Panchal has retained his place, while Saurabh Kumar earned his maiden call-up.
