Shakib returns in Bangladesh’s second Test against Pakistan
Shakib Al Hasan has been declared fit for the second Test match against Pakistan, starting 4 December at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Taskin Ahmed, too, returned to the squad after recovering from an injury, as did the uncapped Mohammad Naim.
Having won by eight wickets in the first Test match at Chattogram, Pakistan have already taken an unassailable 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

Pakistan announce squads for West Indies series
Pakistan picked a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against West Indies, starting 13 December at the National Stadium, Karachi. Hasan Ali, Imad Wasim, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik, who recently featured in their T20I series against Bangladesh, have been left out.
Babar Azam will continue to captain Pakistan, with Shadab Khan as deputy.
The PCB also named squads for the Under-19 Asia Cup and the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Qasim Akram has been selected as captain.

Australia include Carey for first two Ashes Tests
Alex Carey will make his Test debut in the first two Ashes Tests. He edged Josh Inglis as replacement for Tim Paine, who is taking a break from cricket after stepping down as Test captain for a sexting scandal. The five-Test Ashes starts on 8 December, at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Second Test: Sri Lanka in command against West Indies after Day 4
Dhananjaya de Silva’s superb 153 not out helped Sri Lanka regain control on Day 4 of the second Test match against West Indies in Galle. De Silva and Lasith Embuldeniya added an unbroken 107 to help Sri Lanka finish the day on 328/8. They have now a lead of 279. Embuldeniya is batting on 25 off 110 balls.
