Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in Match 43 of the IPL 2021 in Dubai. They restricted Rajasthan to 149/9, and chased that down with 17 balls to spare.
Rajasthan got off to a blistering start, thanks to a 77-run opening wicket stand between Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal. However, their middle order failed to get going against Yuzvendra Chahal (2-17) and Shahbaz Ahmed (2-10). Harshal Patel then picked up three wickets in the last over.
Coming to the chase, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal added 48 in 32 balls to set the tone. K.S. Bharat and Glenn Maxwell carried the momentum, and took Bangalore past the finishing line with seven wickets in hand.
