Mitchell Marsh ruled out of Pakistan tour
Mitchell Marsh will miss the rest of the matches against Pakistan due to a hip flexor injury. Marsh will soon join Delhi Capitals, where he will continue recovery with the physiotherapist Patrick Farhart. He will miss the next two games of the Indian Premier League 2022.
'Being able to focus on my recovery without the travel and isolation break is the best approach. I am disappointed to miss the Pakistan series but look forward to re-joining the Australian squad for our next tour,' said Marsh.
Australia reach Women's World Cup final
Australia eased through the semi-finals of the Women's World Cup 2022 with a 157-run win over the West Indies. In a rain-affected clash, Australia rode on a blistering hundred from Alyssa Healy to amass 305/3 in 45 overs. Healy scored 129 off 107 balls and forged a 219-run stand with Rachael Haynes (85).
In reply, West Indies were bowled out for 148. Stafanie Taylor top-scored with 48, and Deandra Dottin and Hayley Matthews scored 34 each, but the rest succumbed without a fight.
Bangalore beat Kolkata by three wickets
Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Kolkata Knight Riders by three wickets to register their first win in the Indian Premier League 2022. Dinesh Karthik a six and a four off the first two balls of the 20th over to take Bangalore across the target.
Earlier in the game, Wanindu Hasaranga claimed four wickets and Akash Deep three, while Harshal Patel bowled 18 dot balls, to bowl out Kolkata to 128. Andre Russell's 25 was the highest score of the innings.
Kane Williamson fined Rs 12 lakh for slow over rate
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson has been fined INR 12 lakh after his team maintained a slow over rate during their match against Rajasthan Royals.
'The Sunrisers Hyderabad have been fined after they maintained a slow over-rate during their TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Rajasthan Royals at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on March 29,' said the IPL committee in an official statement.
