Sri Lanka to tour Bangladesh for two Tests

Sri Lanka will set to tour Bangladesh for two Tests this May, as announced by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). The series was originally slated to be held in 2020, but had to be postponed due to Covid-19.

The first Test will be played in Chattogram from 15 May, while Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur will host the second Test match from 23 May. Sri Lanka recently lost a Test series to India, while Bangladesh is currently playing against South Africa.

USA to host two T20Is between India and West Indies

The United States of America will host two T20Is between India and West Indies this August. Both games will be a part of a multi-format assignment, comprising five T20Is and three ODIs, set to be played in the Caribbean. 

'There has not been much international cricket in the US of late and if these games are played there, it is good for cricket in the US,' a USA official said to Cricbuzz.

England reach the final of Women's World Cup 2022

England beat South Africa by 137 runs in the semi-final of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2022. They will now face Australia in the final on Sunday. Danni Wyatt's 125-ball 129 and Sophia Dunkley's 72-ball 60 propelled England to 293/9.

Sophie Ecclestone then took 6-36 to bowl out South Africa for 56. Mignon du Preez's 30 was the highest score of the second innings.

Lucknow beat Chennai by six wickets

Chennai Super Kings suffered their second successive defeat in the Indian Premier League 2022. This time they failed to defend 210 against Lucknow Super Giants.

Lucknow rode on fifties from Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis to complete the chase with three balls remaining. De Kock got 61 in 45 balls before Lewis slammed an unbeaten 55 in 23 to take Lucknow over the line. For Chennai, Robin Uthappa scored 50 and Shivam Dube 49.
