South Africa beat Bangladesh by 220 runs

Keshav Maharaj and Simon Harmer bowled unchanged to share all ten wickets to bowl out Bangladesh for just 53 and help South Africa win the Durban Test match by 220 runs. Keshav Maharaj was adjudged Player of the Match for his seven wickets in the fourth innings.

Barring Najmul Hossain Shanto (26), none of the batters was able to score more than 20. Four Bangladesh batters got out without troubling the scorer. The second Test will be played in Port Elizabeth from 7 April.

BCB to lodge formal complaint to ICC

Unsatisfied with the overall umpiring in the first Test match, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to file an official complaint to the International Cricket Council (ICC). They will also complain about the sledging their players had to face in Durban.

'We have already lodged one complaint about the umpiring after the ODI series. The match referee [Andy Pycroft] had an argument with our manager Nafees Iqbal, but then we gave him a written complaint. We will lodge another official complaint about this Test match,' said BCB cricket operation chairman Jalal Yunus to Cricinfo.
