Sri Lanka name 18-member Test squad for Bangladesh series

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named their 18-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Oshada Fernando made a comeback on the back of an impressive domestic season, but Pathum Nissanka is yet to recover from the injury.

BCCI bans Boria Majumdar for two years

The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) banned Boria Majumdar for a period of two years for sending "threatening" messages to cricketer Wriddhiman Saha. 

'The Board of Control for Cricket in India had taken cognizance of this incident and deemed it necessary to investigate and probe the matter to avoid the recurrence of such instances with other players,' read the BCCI release.

New Zealand name Test squad for England tour

Kane Williamson is set to make his Test comeback after a long hiatus as New Zealand announced their Test squad for the three-match Test series in England. Michael Bracewell and Cam Fletcher earned maiden call-ups.

Bangalore beat Chennai by 13 runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Chennai Super Kings by 13 runs in Match 49 of Indian Premier League 2022. Chennai could only manage 160 while chasing 174.

For Bangalore, Mahipal Lomror top-scored with 42, while Virat Kohli made 30. Dinesh Karthik's cameo propelled them to 173. For Chennai, Maheesh Theekshana claimed three wickets and Moeen Ali two. Devon Conway's fifty went in vain as the Chennai middle and lower orders failed to add the finishing touch.
