BCCI bans Boria Majumdar for two years
The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) banned Boria Majumdar for a period of two years for sending "threatening" messages to cricketer Wriddhiman Saha.
'The Board of Control for Cricket in India had taken cognizance of this incident and deemed it necessary to investigate and probe the matter to avoid the recurrence of such instances with other players,' read the BCCI release.

For Bangalore, Mahipal Lomror top-scored with 42, while Virat Kohli made 30. Dinesh Karthik's cameo propelled them to 173. For Chennai, Maheesh Theekshana claimed three wickets and Moeen Ali two.
