India's unbeaten run at the Wanderers in Test came to an end after losing by seven wickets to South Africa in the second Test match. The series is now level at 1-1, and the decider will be played at Cape Town. South Africa rode on an unbeaten 96 from Dean Elgar to chase down 241 on Day 4.
Rassie van der Dussen, the other overnight batter, scored 40, while Temba Bavuma remained unbeaten on 25.

Naveen-ul-Haq has decided to take a short break from ODI cricket, as reported by Cricbuzz. He wants to focus on the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. He will miss the ODI series against India, which will take place this March. Before that, Afghanistan are slated to play three ODIs against the Netherlands.
