Robinson feared for international career after suspension
Ollie Robinson admitted he feared he would never play for England again after his offensive old racist tweets went viral right after his spectacular Test debut against New Zealand, in June.
‘There was definitely a time when I had doubts over my career. I was speaking with my lawyers and we were looking at the fact I could be banned for a couple of years and never play for England again,’ Robinson confessed after Day 2 of England’s first Test in India, at Trent Bridge.
Robinson bagged his maiden five-wicket haul in the first innings in his comeback Test match against India.

Wickets kept falling after Christian’s departure, but Ashton Agar held his nerve and made a valuable run-a-ball 27 to guide Australia reach the target with six balls to spare.
