Jordan, Salt to leave Sussex
Chris Jordan and Phil Salt are leaving Sussex. Jordan will join his boyhood club, Surrey, while Salt has decided to shift his base to Lancashire. Sussex is playing in the semi-final of the T20 Blast.
Jordan joined Surrey in 2013, and made his ODI debut for England a year later. He recently won the Hundred with Southern Brave. Jordan has signed a three-year contract with the club.
Salt, soon to be 25, made his ODI debut for England earlier this year against Pakistan. He played all three matches of the series, and scored a half-century. ‘I’d first of all like to thank everyone at Sussex County Cricket Club for the last six years. I’ve loved every minute playing at Hove and moving on has not been an easy decision to make,’ he stated.
