Sunrisers Hyderabad have momentum and confidence in their favor as they gear up to lock horns with Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier of IPL 2020 on Sunday. SRH won all of their last three league matches to make a late surge into the playoffs and then defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator comfortably as well. The main reason behind their success in these matches is the good form of their top four and their bowlers. So they will be banking on them again to make it to the final.
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, have looked like a pale shadow of what they were during the first half of the season. They huffed and puffed into the playoffs somehow and suffered a heavy loss at the hands of Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier as well. Their batsmen haven’t clicked at all and their bowlers have suddenly started underperforming as well. With all these issues combined, things don’t look that good for them coming into this match.
Team News
None of the two sides have any major injury concerns at the moment. Sunrisers Hyderabad are expected to go with the same team but they might drop Shreevats Goswami if Wriddhiman Saha is fit to play. Delhi Capitals might choose to drop Prithvi Shaw who has misfired big time in this tournament.
