Ollie Robinson will miss the fourth Ashes Test match, slated to begin on 5 January at the Sydney Cricket Ground, due to a shoulder niggle. He is replaced by Stuart Broad, who had missed the last Test match.
'We felt like it was too much of a risk to go in with a couple of lads who are carrying niggles. So, therefore, it was right to bring Stuart back in,' said Graham Thorpe, who is standing in as head coach in Chris Silverwood's absence.
Broad will combine with Mark Wood, James Anderson, and Ben Stokes to form the pace attack, with Jack Leach as the lone spinner. There is no change in the batting line-up. Zak Crawley and Haseeb Hameed will continue to open the innings.
Australia have already taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.
