Let us have a look at how each of the Pakistani players fared in the three-match T20I series against England.

Mohammad Rizwan 8 (M 3, R 176, Ave 88, SR 139)

With 176 runs at 139, Rizwan top-scored from either side. He was Pakistan’s standout performer in the series by a fair margin. Surprisingly, no catch or stumping came his way throughout the series.

Shadab Khan 6 (M 3, W 5, ER 9.72, R 38, SR 141, C 3)

With five scalps at 9.72, Shadab finished as the top wicket-taker for Pakistan. He also aggregated 38 at 141, and took three catches down the boundary line.

Mohammad Hafeez 6 (M 3, R 35, SR 146, W 3, Ave 9.33, Ec 7)

Hafeez played a breezy cameo in the first match but wasted the next two opportunities with bat. However, he almost single-handedly brought Pakistan back into the contest in the decider with 3-28.

Babar Azam 5 (M 3, R 118, Ave 39.33, SR 151, C 4)

Babar showed his composure with a 49-ball 85 in the opening match. His next two innings fetched him 33 more. He also held four catches, most by anyone in the series.

Imad Wasim 5 (M 3, W 4, ER 9, R 26, SR 153)

Imad was a bit expensive for his four wickets, though he returned 4-0-25-1 in the decider. With bat, he played a cameo in the second match.

Mohammad Hasnain 4 (M 3, W 4, Ave 19.75, Ec 9.87)

Hasnain bowled accurately in the first match but lost the plot in the next. Babar did not ask him to bowl at all in the decider.

Shaheen Shah Afridi 4 (M 3, W 4, Ave 18.50, Ec 9.06)

By returning 3-30 in 3.2 overs, Afridi started the series with a bang. However, he looked wayward in the next two.

Hasan Ali 3.5 (M 1, W 1, Ave 28, ER 7.63)

After replacing Haris Rauf in the third match, Hasan bowled well but did not get much seam support from others.

Sohaib Maqsood 3 (M 3, R 47, SR 162)

A total flop show for Maqsood who got starts at No. 3 but never managed to stay a bit longer in the crease.

Fakhar Zaman 3 (M 3, R 58, SR 161)

Zaman scored a quickfire 8-ball 26 in the first match, and had a run-a-ball 8 and a 20-ball 24 in the next two.

Haris Rauf 3 (M 2, W 3, Ave 30.65, Ec 11.50)

Rauf bowled in the slot mostly for his three wickets. His economy rate of 11.50 led to him being sidelined in the decider.

Usman Qadir 2 (M 1, W 1, Ec 8.75)

Qadir filled in for Azam Khan in the decider, and returned 1-35 in four overs.

Azam Khan 1 (M 2, R 6)

Azam featured in the first two games. All he managed was five not out and a four-ball one before.
