Shanaka was consistent, though his strike rate of 68 was probably below par. He scored a 67-ball 47 and an unbeaten 48 in the last two ODIs. He was the only Sri Lankan batter who scored fifty in the T20Is.
Wanindu Hasaranga 6 (M 3, R 100, Ave 33.33, SR 68, W 1, Econ 5.14)
After struggling with bat in the T20Is, Hasaranga hit back his critics by top-scoring for his side, aggregating 100 runs at 68. However, he failed to inspire with ball, bagging a solitary wicket.
Dhananjaya de Silva 6 (M 2, R 95, Ave 47.5, SR 92)
De Silva got a run-a-ball 91 in the second game, and his strike rate of 92 was the highest among his teammates. However, his bowling was not used much.
Kusal Perera 6 (M 3, R 82, Ave 27.33, SR 91)
By hitting 73 in 81 balls, Kusal Perera showed his range in the first game. However, his next two innings fetched him just nine.
Chamika Karunaratne 5 (M 3, R 51, Ave 25.5, SR 51, W 2, Ave 36.5, Econ 5.61)
Karunaratne (19* in 33) was the last man standing for Sri Lanka in the opening fixture. He made 21 and 11 in his next two innings. He claimed two wickets at 5.61.
Dushmantha Chameera 4.5 (M 3, W 3, Ave 32, Econ 5.64)
Chameera had finished as the highest wicket-taker in the T20I series, and carried that momentum with 3-50 in the first ODI. However, he got no success in the second match, while the England innings was washed out in the third.
Binura Fernando 2.5 (M 3, W 1, Ave 103, Econ 5.46)
After bowling impressively in the T20Is, Binura had an ordinary outing in the ODI series. He had 1-103 runs in 18.1 overs.
Dhananjaya Lakshan 1.5 (M 1, R 2, Ave 2)
Lakshan made two in the first game. He also bowled two wicketless overs before being sidelined for the rest of the series.
Asitha Fernando 1.5 (M 2, W 0, Econ 5.4)
Asitha Fernando bowled 10 overs in the second game. He conceded 54 runs and failed to claim any wicket.
Charith Asalanka 1 (M 2, R 3, Ave 1.5, SR 18)
After a six-ball duck in the first game, Asalanka scored a 11-ball 3 and was dropped.
Pathum Nissanka 1 (M 3, R 16, Ave 5.33, SR 33)
With a total of 16 at 33, Nissanka wasted all three opportunities on the top of the order.
Ramesh Mendis 1 (M 1, R 1, Ave 1)
Ramesh Mendis featured in the opening match where he scored a single run and did not bowl.
Avishka Fernando 1 (M 2, R 16, Ave 8, SR 100)
Avishka got his chance in the final two games. He compiled 16 runs from them.
Praveen Jayawickrama 1 (M 1, R 1, Ave 1)
Jayawickrama made his ODI debut in the first game. He batted at 11, scored four runs, and bowled one eventless over.
