Ambapratapsinhji Jadeja, the former Saurashtra cricketer, passed away at 69, as confirmed by Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA).
'Everyone at Saurashtra Cricket Association is deeply saddened on the sad demise of Saurashtra's yesteryears' cricketer late Shri Ambapratapsinhji Jadeja. He passed away early on Tuesday morning at Valsad fighting hard battle against Covid,' the SCA said in a media statement issued here.
A right-handed batter and medium pacer, Jadeja played eight Ranji Trophy matches for Saurashtra. He also served as DSP of Gujarat Police.
