Virat Kohli, has become the only men’s player to be named in ICC’s Test, ODI, and T20I Teams of the Decade, which was announced on Sunday (December 27). He has also been chosen to lead a star-studded ICC Test Team of the Decade, after being named the captain of the Test Team of the Year in each of the past three years.
The Indian skipper has also won the Sir Garfield Sobers award for ICC Male Cricketer of the Decade along with ICC Men’s ODI Player of the Decade award whereas his good mate Steve Smith won the ICC Male Test Cricketer of the Decade award.

MS Dhoni, the World Cup winning former Indian skipper has been named as the captain of the ICC ODI and T20I Team of the Decade. In both the XIs there is a significant Indian presence as Kohli and Rohit Sharma have found place whereas speedster Jasprit Bumrah has been included in the 20-over team.
Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan has been honoured with the ICC Men’s T20 Cricketer of the Decade award for his outstanding performance in national colours.

In the women’s T20I Team of the Decade, India’s Harmanpreet Kaur and Poonam Yadav have been picked and Australia’s Meg Lanning has been named the captain of that side whereas her Australian teammate Ellyse Perry has been named as the ICC Women’s T20I and ODI Cricketer of the Decade and the the prestigious ICC Female Cricketer of the Decade award.
India’s Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami have found place in the women’s ODI team of the Decade.
