Day three of the T20 World Cup qualifier saw Papua New Guinea, Canada, Singapore and Oman registering wins.
PNG v Namibia
Papua New Guinea continued their good form and registered their second win in as many games. They set a total of 197/7 in 20 overs which was almost unreachable for Namibia. PNG opener Tony Ura scored 71 off 42 balls to give them a good launching pad for later part of the innings. In reply, none of Namibia batters could cross 20-run mark and the Namibia innings was ended on 116. They could not even bat for their entire quota, thanks to the brilliant showcase of PNG bowlers. Assad Vala took 3/19 with five more bowlers picking up one wicket each.

Bermuda v Singapore
After upsetting Scotland in their first match in Group A, Singapore continued their winning streak with a tight win against Bermuda. Batting first, Bermuda posted 149/7, with the help of an unbeaten fifty from Janeiro Tucker. Janak Prakash was the pick of Singapore bowlers who took 3/44. The chase was not smooth for Singapore. They were in trouble with the score on 41/4 in the 9th over. However, Navin Param, playing just his 4th T20I, produced brilliant counter-attacking innings and added 79 runs with Manpreet Singh for the 5th wicket. Despite Singh’s departure, Param kept playing his shots and finished the match in the 20th over with an unbeaten 41-ball 72.
Bermuda 149/7 (Janerio Tucker, Rodney Trott 1/20) lost to Singapore 152/5 (Navin Param 72, Janak Prakash 3/44) by five wickets
Canada v Jersey
Canada registered their first win of the tournament against Jersey by 53 runs. Nitish Kumar’s 36-ball 83 was the mainstay of the innings that saw four boundaries and six maximums. The captain Navneet Dhaliwal provided support with a handy 36 off 26. Canada finally posted 176/5 as Charles Perchard from the opponent camp took two wickets for 21. In response, it was a disaster from Jersey. Jonty Jenner tried to stabilize the innings with his 32-ball 56 but did not find any able ally. As a result, Jersey was all out for just 123 in 17 overs. The opening bowlers from Canada, Jeremy Gordon and Dillon Heyliger got three wickets apiece conceding 14 and 20 respectively.

Oman v Hong Kong
A low scoring fixture between Oman and Hong Kong saw the former registering an easy win. Three wickets each from Ameer Kaleem (3/14) and Khawar Ali (3/24) helped Oman to restrict Hong Kong for just 102. Nizakat Khan was the only decent contributor with 31 runs. It was a comfortable chase by Oman. Aqib Ilyas (37*) along with the skipper Zeeshan Maqsood (24*) finished the match with an unbeaten 60-run partnership. After winning this match by seven wickets Oman is now leading the Group B table with four points.
