Afghanistan beat Namibia by 62 runs to register their second win of the tournament. After Mohammad Nabi opted to bat, Mohammad Shahzad top-scored with 45, and Nabi played a brisk cameo, as Afghanistan put up 160/5. The Afghan bowlers then restricted Namibia to 98/9. Hamid Hassan and Naveen-ul-Haq picked three wickets each, while Gulbadin Naib had two. Afghanistan are now positioned second in the points table.
In the second match, India suffered their second defeat. They scored 110/7, which New Zealand chased down in just 14.3 overs, with eight wickets remaining. Daryl Mitchell's 49 was the highest score of the game. New Zealand are at third place now, followed by Namibia.
