In another match, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by five wickets. They needed 24 in two overs, but Asif Ali hit four sixes in the 19th over, bowled by Karim Janat, to finish the match. Earlier, Afghanistan were lifted by an unbroken 71-run stand between Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib to post 147/6.
This was the third successive win for Pakistan, and they sit at the top of the points table. Afghanistan and Namibia are tied with two points each.
