Ireland beat Zimbabwe by eight wickets in the Plate semi-final at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. They chased 167 in 32 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Jack Dickson and Tim Tector.
Zimbabwe lost both openers inside the first four overs after electing to bat. Steven Saul and Brian Bennett then steadied the innings with a 52-run stand before the former was bowled by Matthew Humphreys on 24. Muzamil Sherzad then had Brian (37) caught by Joshua Cox.
David Bennett's 35 took Zimbabwe to 166. Sherzad (5-20) was the pick of the Irish bowlers, while Humphreys claimed three wickets.
Ireland then rode on an unbroken 159-run stand between Dickson and Tector to complete the chase with 18 overs remaining. Dickson remained unbeaten on 78, and Tector scored 76.
