Joshua Boyden's 4-16 helped England defeat defending champions Bangladesh by eight wickets at Warner Park in St Kitts. England chased down 98 in 25.1 overs.
Bangladesh got off to a poor start, losing four batters for just eight runs. Boyden had both openers, Mahfijul Islam and Ariful Islam, caught behind the stumps. Prantik Nabil failed to score, while Md Fahim got run out for 1. Ripon Mondol's unbeaten 33 eventually lifted them to 97. Only three batters managed more than 10 runs.
Other than Boyden, Thomas Aspinwall took two wickets, while wicketkeeper Alex Horton held six catches.
