Uganda defeated Papua New Guinea by 35 runs in a low-scoring clash at the Diego Martin Sporting Complex. PNG were bowled out for 88 while chasing 124. Only Junior Morea (26) scored more than 20. Juma Miyaji (4-29) was the pick of the Ugandan bowlers. Earlier, Cyrus Kakuru's 59-ball 65 helped Uganda reach 123 in 28 overs.

United Arab Emirates vs West Indies

Chasing 224, hosts West Indies could only manage 142 against the UAE the at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad. Nathan Edwards remained unbeaten on 51, but the others failed to step up as Dhruv Parashar took four wickets.

Earlier, the UAE rode on half-centuries from Afzal Khan and Shival Bawa to post 223/9. Afzal missed out on his century by seven runs, while Bawa scored 51.

Pakistan vs Australia

Fifties from Teague Wyllie and Corey Miller propelled Australia to 276 before the bowlers restricted Pakistan to 157 in 35.1 overs. For Australia, Wyllie made 71 in 97 balls and Miller scored 64, as Qasim Akram took three wickets.

Pakistan were then let down by the batters, none of whom managed more than 30 runs. William Salzmann claimed 3-37, while Tom Whitney and Jack Sinfield took two each.
