Australia beat Scotland by seven wickets to register their second win of ICC Under-19 World Cup 2022. They chased down 240 in 39.5 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 101 from Teague Wyllie.
Oliver Davidson and Charlie Tear added 88 for the opening stand after Scotland were put in to bat. Davidson got run out for 38, while Tear made 54 in 69 balls. Tomas Mackintosh also scored 54 before getting dismissed by Aidan Cahill. Jack Jarvis (27) and Muhaymen Majeed (26) then propelled their team to 237/8.
For Australia, Cahill and William Salzmann claimed two wickets each.
Wyllie and Campbell Kellaway set up the foundation with a 101-run opening stand. Campbell got out on 47. Wyllie and Cahill then added 97 for the second wicket. Cahill struck seven fours and four sixes for his 45-ball 72.
