India beat Bangladesh by five wickets in the second quarter-final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup, at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. Angkrish Raghuvanshi top-scored with 44 and Yash Dhull remained unbeaten on 20 as they chased 112 in 30.5 overs.
Ravi Kumar was adjudged Player of the Match for his 3-14. Ravi dismissed Mahfijul Islam, Iftakher Hossain, and P.N. Nabil in his opening spell to reduce Bangladesh to 14/3. Aich Mollah and Ariful Islam played the next seven overs with caution before Vicky Ostwal struck twice in four balls to leave them reeling at 37/5. Then Ariful and Md Fahim fell in quick succession. S.M. Meherob's 30 and Ashiqur Zaman's 16 helped Bangladesh reach 111.
In response, Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Shaik Rasheed added 70 for the second wicket after India lost Harnoor Singh for a duck. Harnoor edged to Fahim off Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Raghuvanshi hit seven fours in his 65-ball 44, while Rasheed made 26. Both fell to Ripon Mondol, who claimed four wickets in his second spell. However, India still completed the chase in 30.5 overs.
