England beat Bangladesh by 100 runs to qualify for the semi-final of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2022. They are almost certain to face second-ranked South Africa. Chasing 235, Bangladesh were bowled out for 134. 

Shamima Sultana and Sharmin Akhter added 42 for the opening stand before Sophie Ecclestone bowled Akhter. In her next over, Ecclestone had Sultana caught by Kate Cross. Bangladesh kept losing wickets regularly thereafter, and were bowled out in 48 overs. Lata Mondal top-scored with 30. For England, Ecclestone and Charlotte Dean claimed three wickets each. 

Barring Danni Wyatt and Heather Knight, all English batters chipped in with vital contributions. Tammy Beaumont made 33, Nat Sciver 40, and Amy Jones 31, while Sophia Dunkley top-scored with 67.
