Rain played spoilsport as only 10.5 overs of the play was possible in ICC Women's World Cup match between South Africa and West Indies. The sides had to share points. West Indies have now seven points from as many games, and will be knocked out If India and England win their respective matches – or even if their matches are washed out.
England beat Pakistan by nine wickets in Christchurch later in the day. Katherine Brunt and Sophie Ecclestone claimed three wickets each to bowl out Pakistan for 105. Danni Wyatt then scored an unbeaten 76 to drive her team to an easy win.
