Ireland Women v West Indies Women

Ireland Women 159 in 43 overs (Gaby Lewis 36; Anisa Mohammed 3-40) lost to West Indies 163/4 in 39.3 overs (Deandra Dottin 73; Eimear Richardson 2-33) by 6 wickets with 63 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Deandra Dottin.

West Indies rode on Deandra Dottin’s 87-ball 73 and Stafanie Taylor’s unbeaten 54-ball 41 to chase 160 against Ireland with 63 balls to spare in Match 3 of the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier 2021 in Harare. Eimear Richardson took 2-33 and Celeste Raack 1-40 for Ireland.

Earlier, Gaby Lewis top-scored with 58-ball 36 in Ireland’s 159 after they were put in. Richardson impressed with bat as well, scoring 40-ball 32. Hayley Matthews returned figures of 10-3-20-2 and Anisa Mohammed 3-40. Shamilia Connell went for less than three and a half an over for her two wickets.

Sri Lanka Women v Netherlands Women

Sri Lanka Women 278/9 in 50 overs (Chamari Athapaththu 111; Caroline de Lange 4-64) beat Netherlands Women 196/6 in 43.4 overs (Babette de Leede 78; Oshadi Ranasinghe 2-36) by 34 runs (D/L method).

Chamari Athapaththu’s 70-ball 111 made headlines on 23 November in the Women's World Cup Qualifier 2021. She struck 11 fours and five sixes to help Sri Lanka reach 278/9 against the Netherlands in Match 4. Nilakshi de Silva (26), Anushka Sanjeewani (32) and Oshadi Ranasinghe  (23) also chipped in handy contributions. For the Netherlands, Caroline de Lange took four wickets, but conceded 64.

The Netherlands reached 196/6 in 43.3 overs in reply. They were 34 runs behind the par score under DLS method, and no further play was possible because of the rain. Babette de Leede made 99-ball 78 and Sterre Kalis 96-ball 68, while the rest could not even reach double digits.

Bangladesh Women v The United States of America Women

Bangladesh Women 322/5 in 50 overs (Sharmin Akhter 130*; Moksha Chaudhary 2-64) beat the USA Women 52 in 30.3 overs (Tara Norris 16; Fahima Khatun 2-5) by 270 runs.

Bangladesh blew the USA away in Match 5. They piled 322/5, courtesy an unbeaten 141-ball 130 and Fargana Hoque’s 62-ball 67, after being put in, and skittled the USA out for 52 in 30.3 overs.

Jahanara Alam was the only Bangladesh bowler who went for more than two an over. Salma Khatun returned figures of 10-5-10-2. Fahima Khatun and Rumana Ahmed also claimed two wickets apiece.

Pakistan Women v Thailand Women

Pakistan Women 145 in 48 overs (Aliya Riaz 49; Thipatcha Putthawong 5-18) beat Thailand Women 93 in 42.5 overs (Nattaya Boochatham 18; Fatima Sana 2-8) by 52 runs.

Pakistan bowled out Thailand for 93 while defending 146 in Match 6. No Thai batter managed to cross 20, while all six Pakistani bowlers took at least a wicket. Nashra Sandhu impressed the most, returning 10-5-14-1.

Earlier, Thipatcha Putthawong took 5-18 to bundle Pakistan out for a paltry total. Aliya Riaz scored 49 and Javeria Khan 38.
