Dilshan Madushanka, Sri Lanka's all-rounder, has a shoulder injury and is doubtful for the second One-Day International (ODI) against India, which will be played at Eden Gardens here later on Thursday.
Madushanka sustained the injury while diving in the outfield during the first ODI in Guwahati, his debut match, and was sent for an X-ray and MRI, according to a tweet from Sri Lanka Cricket on Wednesday.
The Sri Lanka team management will make a decision on his participation in the second ODI on Thursday after receiving the reports.
Meanwhile, the visitors were concerned about another injury.
"Chamika Karunaratne's upper lip was injured when she was struck by a ball just before the first ODI's toss.
