India have added Jayant Yadav and Navdeep Saini to the ODI squad for the forthcoming ODI series in South Africa. The first ODI of the three-match series will be played on 19 January.
Jayant has been added as a replacement for Washington Sundar, who was ruled out after testing positive for COVID-19. Saini, meanwhile, is brought in as a cover for Mohammed Siraj, who is nursing a hamstring injury.
'Team India off-spinner Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the forthcoming ODI series against South Africa after testing positive for COVID-19 during the camp in Bengaluru,' said the BCCI in a statement.
