After a nail-biting draw in the first Test match, at Kanpur, India will host New Zealand again on 3 December, in the second and last Test match of the series, at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. This will be the first Test match at Wankhede since 2016.
India will welcome back their captain Virat Kohli for this contest. With his return, they are likely to leave out one of Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, considering Shreyas Iyer’s magnificent performance on debut. Mohammed Siraj, too, is expected to make the cut, in place of Ishant Sharma.
New Zealand, on the other hand, may go for one change, bringing in Neil Wagner for William Somerville.
