Orange Cap
The Orange Cap changed hands thrice yesterday. Ruturaj Gaikwad first claimed it from K.L. Rahul in the early phase of the Chennai Super Kings innings. His opening partner Faf du Plessis then overtook him. But by the time Punjab Kings won the match, Rahul not only reclaimed the Orange Cap but took an 80-run lead over du Plessis.
However, Rahul will play no further part in the tournament, which will allow Gaikwad and du Plessis a chance to make up the deficit.
