They chased down 190 in 17.3 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal (50) and Shivam Dube (64). Earlier, Ruturaj Gaikwad struck his maiden IPL century to take CSK to 189/4 in 20 overs.
This was the Rajasthan's fifth win, and they are now tied with three other teams, on 10 points. They are placed sixth on net run-rate. Chennai, meanwhile, are still on the top of the points table, with 18 points in 12 games.
