IPL 2020: SRH vs MI GoodGamer Fantasy Preview, Playing XI and Team Image

It is a do-or-die encounter for Sunrisers Hyderabad as they take on defending champions Mumbai Indians in their last League game of the IPL 2020 season. They are currently sitting at the fifth spot in the table with 12 points and a win here will tie them on 14 points with Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore who are placed at fourth and third respectively. However, SRH have a better NRR than KKR and that’s why they will replace KKR at fourth if they win in this match.

It won’t be easy though. Mumbai Indians are a far superior side than the Sunrisers and they beat the Hyderabad-based franchise quite comfortably in their reverse fixture this season. However, MI might test their bench strength in this match having already qualified for the playoffs. And that might work in SRH’s favor as they could face a MI side which won’t be at its full strength. SRH, on the other hand, will come all guns out in this match and they will be eyeing that last playoff spot.

Team News

Sunrisers Hyderabad are expected to go unchanged whereas MI might make some changes. The likes of Mitchell McClenaghan, Chris Lynn, and Dhawal Kulkarni are expected to get game time if the likes of Quinton de Kock, Trent Boult, and Jasprit Bumrah are rested. Rohit Sharma hasn’t recovered from his injury yet and he might continue to be on the sidelines.

Fantasy Tips

  • The top-order pair of David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha has been in excellent form this season. They are very reliable batting assets from SRH.
  • Picking de Kock is a no-brainer if he plays. Lynn also forms a good option if he replaces de Kock tonight. Otherwise, Ishan Kishan has been in excellent batting form and that makes him a must-have.
  • Jason Holder has been one of the main reasons behind SRH’s turnaround in the season. He has picked up eight wickets in four matches so far and will be eager to keep his good run of form going.
