Match 18 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will see Rajasthan Royals (RR) locking horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, on Saturday, 24 April. Both teams have won only one out of four matches they have played so far.

Team News

Jofra Archer is set to miss the remainder of the IPL 2021. RR earlier lost Ben Stokes who broke his finger while attempting a catch against Punjab Kings, and Liam Livingstone. Rajasthan are yet to announce the replacement. Manan Vohra has failed to provide them with a good start. He might have to make way for Yashasvi Jaiswal.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders are likely to go unchanged despite losing their last match against Chennai Super Kings. While Sunil Narine’s comeback has added potency to the spin department, their pacers have conceded over 200 runs in the last two matches. Shubman Gill is yet to fire, while a lack of contribution from Eoin Morgan has let them down.

Fantasy Picks:

  • Shubman Gill’s poor form has been a major concern for Kolkata. But he would relish batting at Wankhede against RR’s depleted pace attack.
  • Andre Russell and Chris Morris can be relied upon as two all-rounders in your fantasy XI.
  • Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson could be the two-wicket-keepers of your side, with the latter being the vice-captain as well.
