Delhi Capitals outclassed Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Super Over to register their fourth win of the Indian Premier League 2021, at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Jonny Bairstow’s blitz and Kane Williamson’s valiant effort went in vain as Rishabh Pant and Shikhar Dhawan reached their target on the last ball of the Super Over.

Prithvi Shaw and Dhawan, the current Orange Cap holder, once again got DC off a rollicking start. They added 81 runs for the first wicket. Dhawan’s 28 extended his lead at the top, while Shaw’s dazzling half-century helps him climb to the tenth spot. Later, Bairstow made 38 off 18 to reach fourth place.
