Mumbai Indians (MI) roared back against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to win by 10 runs in the fifth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Chasing 153, KKR were 72 without loss in the ninth over, but they could eventually manage only 142/7.
Orange Cap:
Despite having plenty of hard-hitters in both rosters, KKR versus MI in Chepauk ended as a low-scoring nail-biter. After scoring 80 in the last game, Nitish Rana continued his form going but failed to break the shackles against Mumbai. He scored 57 in 47 balls, but that was enough to get him the Orange Cap.
Suryakumar Yadav also scored a magnificent fifty against his former franchise. That helped him to climb up to fourth place, with 87 runs in two matches.

A total of 17 wickets fell during KKR vs MI match, a rare memorable day for the bowlers.
