Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the entirety of IPL 2021 due to a finger injury he endured while catching Chris Gayle in the first match. Liam Livingstone is likely to replace him. Having completed their respective quarantine periods, David Miller and Andrew Tye are both available for selection.
Delhi Capitals will miss the service of Anrich Nortje, who has returned positive for Covid-19. Axar Patel has resumed training, but DC is unlikely to rush him into the playing XI. Ishant Sharma had missed out on the first game due to a minor injury; he is likely to miss today’s clash as well.
