Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) — the two most in-form teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 – will take on each other on in their quest for maintaining the top two positions at the points table, in Match 57 of this season at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Tuesday evening.
After losing their opening encounter against Gujarat, K.L. Rahul's Lucknow have been consistent enough in their debut season to win eight matches out of their next 10. Against Mumbai, they failed to chase 178 despite both openers – Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha – scoring rapid half-centuries. Additionally, Mohammed Shami's expensive outings in the recent games will concern the management a bit, especially before the Playoffs. During this game against Lucknow, the Titans will be aiming to plug these holes.
