Kolkata Knight Riders’ CEO, Venky Mysore, has responded to reports of the franchise’s possible investment in ‘The Hundred’.
Mysore has said that an investment will be ‘considered’ and ‘evaluated’.
“If we are approached to consider investing in ‘The Hundred’, we will evaluate it” Mysore said
“We are the biggest brand in IPL and perhaps the only global brand in cricket. So we can understand why leagues around the world would be interested in getting Knight Riders on board,” he added.
KKR’s social media tweeted a quote from their CEO, which underlined the increasing interest of leagues around the world towards having their brand on board.
“I think (all other) leagues are realizing the value of having investors such as us who bring our brand, professional management, marketing ideas & a huge fan base.”
